After a busy month in Ledbury we set off again on another French adventure on Monday 14th September. After driving to Poole we stayed overnight in the Ferry terminal ready for the Tuesday morning ferry to Cherbourg. As it happens the ferry was delayed for an hour due to severe weather conditions at sea! ………..
After a surprisingly smooth crossing (are we getting too used to this?) we landed in Cherbourg and re stocked the van with some nice French goodies before heading South to overnight at an Aire in Avranches where we tucked in to Moules Mariniere with a crusty baguette and a chilled bottle of Muscadet………..
The adventure begins :)
